For years, the PML Rideaway has been one of our most anticipated annual events - so popular that we often receive more sign‑ups than we can accommodate. While this enthusiasm inspires us, the traditional format also meant we were limited by logistics and could only welcome a fixed number of riders each year.
In 2026, that changes. After careful planning and reimagining how we connect with our BMW riding community, we are excited to introduce a brand‑new approach: more rides, more flexibility, and more opportunities for everyone to join us on the road.
More Weekend Rides, More Freedom
Instead of a single large-scale Rideaway, we will curate multiple weekend rides throughout the year. These maybe, full‑day scenic rides, weekend getaways and special routes planned around long weekends. This new format gives us the freedom to explore more destinations and lets riders enjoy more frequent adventures with the PML community.
Open to All BMW Riders - Choose Your Adventure
PML welcomes every BMW rider to join our 2026 rides - whether you're new to touring or a seasoned explorer. Each route is curated with its own level of challenge: some rides will take you deep into full rural backroads suited for more experienced riders, while others offer easier, relaxed journeys perfect for building confidence. No matter the difficulty, every ride includes meals hosted by PML, keeping the camaraderie strong and the adventure spirit alive.
Your Ride, Your Stay
To ensure maximum flexibility and remove logistical constraints, riders will arrange their own accommodation for overnight trips. We will provide the destinated hotel names and locations, and riders can make their own bookings directly. This allows you to choose your preferred room type and decide whom you would like to share a room with.

Day 1
Day 2
Day 3
Rel Difficulty: Onroad - difficulty level 2. The tour runs partly on winding and narrow asphalt roads.
Riding Skills: You must be an experienced onroad rider.
This round-Malaysia adventure is currently being refined, but here's the preliminary outline of the journey.
We begin our ride from Gelang Patah, making our way up to the west coast and visiting Malaysia's iconic heritage towns such as Melaka, Perak's historic towns, and further up towards Perlis at the northern edge of the peninsula.
One of the highlights of the northern sector will be the legendary Gerik Highway (Federal Route 4). Though not a highway in the conventional sense, this road is loved by riders for its flowy curves, lush rainforest, and the unique experience of riding along the natural border between South Thailand and Northern Malaysia. This section promises to be one of the most scenic and engaging rides of the trip.
From the north, we will descend along the east coast, where riders can expect long stretches of uninterrupted coastal views, especially in Terengganu, with its clear waters, seaside villages, and wide-open roads. As we push southwards, Kuantan will make an excellent overnight stop before we head back to where it all began; Gelang Patah.
